BENZAC FOAMING FACIAL CLEANSER

So in hopes of riding my acne once and for all I decided to purchase the Benzac foaming facial cleanser. I've been using the product for about 11 days and I have seen a difference in my skin so I thought i'd update you all and show how my skin was before trying and how my skin is now.

This cleanser smells like chemicals but isn't over powering. It has aloe vera in it which is supposed to be calming and moisturising but I don't think it's moisturising at all its quite the opposite. My skin is now super dry and flakey in stead of oily. The only time I get slightly oily is on my period now. But lets get into the before and after pictures. I forgot to take pictures before I started using it but the photos I took were after 1.5 days so 3 uses after using it (so on the 15th June) .

You have to use this cleanser twice daily, so morning and night and I just use my hands to rub it into my skin as I don't want to irritate my skin any further. So anyways here is what my skin looked like 9 days ago.

So thats how my skin was 7 days ago and this is how it looks as of twos days ago (22nd of June).

So there isn't a huge difference but there is defiantly a difference. Most of my pimples are gone now and there are just irritation marks and/ or scarring left over. My skin type is completely different now. It went from overly oily and acne prone to now super dry especially around my eyes and eye brows, my t zone is flakey and dry. So this is something to take into account when deciding whether or not this is for you.

My skin didn't get dry till about 3 days in then after that it just gets drier. Now I don't mind it too much as when all my acne is gone and I go back to my more natural Lush cleanser I hope my skin will balance out to a normal skin type. I am still looking at other ways to rid my acne but so far this is the cheapest way.

Now some things I recommend when using this stay hydrated by drinking lots of water it will help your skin stay a bit softer. I also personally find using a night cream morning and night keeps my skin hydrated because of how heavy and thick it is. A normal moisturiser for me doesn't cut it anymore. Also wear sunscreen because I found I got sunburnt more easily.

I do like this facial cleanser it has cleared my skin quite well so far. I will continue to use this cleanser till I finish the bottle and hopefully by then my skin will have cleared up. I will keep you all updated on how this works for me over the next week or 2.

I really recommend you try this if you want something to get rid of your acne quite quickly and carefully. I got this on sale for $10.50 at priceline it retails for $12.99 which is a good price. If you have dry acne prone skin already don't try this is will make your dry skin a whole lot worse. But for my oily skin people it will help.
