DESIGNER BRANDS LIMITED EDITION ROSE GOLD 10 PIECE BRUSH SET

Now I am so happy that I can finally talk about this brush set. Now it is limited edition but there is still stock on designer brands site. ( Heres a direct link: https://www.dbcosmetics.com.au/10-piece-premium-brush-set  ) I got this set in the first week of it's release and I have used them daily ever since. I've now tried every brush and I can now give you all a full review.

So this brush set retails for $29.99 aud. Designer brands cosmetics or db cosmetics ship to Australia, New Zealand, Asia Pacific, Europe, the Middle East and Africa, North and South America. ( Here is a direct link for shipping prices and specific location they ship to: http://www.dbcosmetics.com.au/shipping )

I paid $7 shipping so my total cost came to $36.99 which for a 10 piece cruelty free/ vegan brush kit i think that is a fair price to pay. Now I got it on a Thursday night and it wasn't shipped till the next day. I received the kit on the following week on a Tuesday. So it came quite quickly which I was pleased with.

Now a little bit about the brand. Designer Brands Cosmetics or more known as db cosmetics, is a certified cruelty free and vegan brand that aims to make quality products at affordable products.

I have had some misses with Designer Brands so I was a bit iffy about purchasing this kit but I need more brush because I have 2 eye brushes and a powder brush. So for the affordable price and great things I  had heard about them I added it to my cart. So when I opened my packaging the box was beautiful and I got so excited. I opened it up and there were my 10 brushes in a beautiful pink brush roll which I have never owned before so it made me feel really fancy to be honest.

So I opened this brush roll and saw that quote a few of the brushes including the fan, powder and buffing brush had loose and bent hairs which I was a bit upset about as most people that I had seen purchase these didn't have that problem. The brushes looked beautiful though so I remained hope full.

So this kit comes with 4 face brushes, 3 eye brushes, a lip, liner and dual ended brow brush. So everything a person new to make up would need. Now the texture and material of the brushes varies. The brushes with the white bristle's feel like plastic and don't pick up much nor do they spread it well. They do the job well but I hope for them to be better. As for the brushes with grey and black bristle's they are amazing, super soft and pick up product evenly and blend very easily. The brushes with the brown/ caramel  coloured bristle's pick up pigment well except for the shadow brush as I find it doesn't pick up much so I need to go back in with my fingers.

So my favourite brushes are the blending flat top kabuki style foundation brush and the brow brush also the eye brushes. I found these brushes overall fantastic and easy to clean. I found the loose bristles went back into place one I washed them a few times and placed them in an empty mason jar.

So are these brushes worth your money? Yes, you get everything you need and they are great quality, some more than others but still great. They look beautiful too and are perfect for beginners. If you can't get your hands of the 10 piece set they have a 7piece set which are black handle brushes and come with a brush role and that is only $24.99. ( Here is a direct link: http://www.dbcosmetics.com.au/7-piece-brush-set-1 ) So hit these links and have a look if its for you but I think if you don't like all the brushes you'll like at least one.

I hope this was some what helpful for you all and hope you enjoyed reading. Hope to talk you all again soon.
