LIFE UPDATE: JUNE 2017/ DEPRESSION, GLASSES AND ACNE
This past month has been super stressful and eventful. The first part of this month was filled with stress as I had just moved and I had to move again within the next few weeks. Luckily I no longer have the stress of finding a house as I have found a house and been approved. So now it's just the stress of moving everything and everyone.
The past week has defiantly been the point where I have struggled the most. I have been trying a new acne treatment and it has made my skin really dry and is working but it my skin will get worse before it gets better sadly so I have been super down on myself because of it. I just feel self conscious and gross and ugh things with my skin aren't so good right now.
I plan on going to see my doctor to get a prescription for the pill that helps acne. If that doesn't work for me I do plan on asking my doctor for a referral to see a dermatologist in hopes that they can help my wiht my skin as the acne is becoming more painful and itchy. It also just brings now my confidence and I hate leaving the house because of it.
On Tuesday I went and got my eyes tested for the first time ever. I know i'm bad. But in my senior year in high school I found it was harder for my eyes to focus when I was reading up close and far away. So my mum told me it was the stress and that I'd be fine to I just left it. But I kept on going to make an appointment but things always came up. So anyways I got my eyes tested and sadly I will need to get a special type of prescription.
So I was born my eyes are too far apart which I was very self conscious about so having a professional pointing it out honestly made me feel worse. But because of the way I was born my eyes find it harder to focus on things up close and far away. So if there is writing or any object about 5cm away from my face or closer it goes very blurry for me so for my day to day life it makes things more difficult. So usually this is taken care of when you are a child but my parents were never told. So at my age it's very uncommon as it's usually treated when you are younger. So my prescription will be very costly and I will have to wear them daily to try and train my eyes. So my glasses aren't being made yet but I am hoping to have them within the next 3 weeks.
So in all the month of June has been a bit sucky. I haven't felt the best but it's also good to know I am getting things sorted out. I'm also looking at starting to study again next month after we've settled in which will be great. But i'm defiantly happy that June is nearly at an end and I hope that better things will come in July.
I hope everyone else had a better June if not don't worry I know July will be better.
