RIMMEL LONDON KATE MOSS SCULPTING KIT
About 3 weeks ago I decided to pick up the new Kate Moss sculpting kit from Rimmel London as I had heard so much hype about it and I had been wanting a blush and highlight as I didn't own one. i picked up the shade 002 coral glow. In Australia we only have 2 shades as in America there are 3. I chose 002 coral glow as the highlight and blush looked beautiful.
I was a sucker for the reflective gold packaging which is beautiful and feels some what classy especially for a drug store product. I payed a little over $11 on sale for this palette but I believe it retails for $16.95. The net weight is 18.5g or 0.65oz which is a good deal.
The colours are beautiful but for my fair skin the highlight gives me an orange stripe along my cheek bone and the contour shade it too orange. Now for the blush it does look nice on my fair skin but because of my acne I feel like it makes it look worse. So sadly this wasn't for me as much as I did love the colours.
I feel like if I was a bit tanner so when summer time comes round the highlight will be perfect and once my acne goes away I think the blush will be beautiful. As for the contour colour it's too warm and orange toned for my skin.
So would I recommend this palette to you? If you have tan to deeper skin tone yes but for us fairer skin folk I don't think it would work sadly. Still go a head an try it if you are still interested but maybe pick it up when it's on sale.
