TOO FACED SWEET PEACH PALETTE

So I purchased another Too Faced palette the other day and received it this afternoon. I was slightly disappointed when I received this palette because the box was dirty and there was a pan of eyeshadow that had a look like someone just swatched it. The there was a loose pan and the lid was very loose. Now I was disappointed because this is a $70 palette, so I expected it to be as good of quality as my Chocolate Bon Bon palette but it wasn't.

Still I tried to remain hopeful and looked at the colours and thought that they were quite pretty but nothing like the photos I saw on Instagram and so on. One thing I couldn't get over was the smell. It was so strong and sickly sweet and remind me of the peach gummies. It's not terrible but if you can't stand strong smells then this won't be for you. Like I opened my mecca packaged and before I even got to the palette peaches is all I could smell.

Enough of the negative though let's get into pricing, amount of product and swatches. So as I mentioned this palette retails for $70 AUD and you can pick it up from Mecca. In this palette you get 18 shades. Unlike the Bon Bon palette you don't get to larger pans, they are all the same medium sized square pans. You get 0.95g or 0.03 oz per shadow. So an overall weight of 17.1g or 0.54 oz which for the the price is pretty good.

Now for the swatches. The names are written left right from row to row in the palette.

White Peach, Luscious, Just Peachy, Bless Her Heart.

Tempting, Charmed I'm Sure, Nectar, Cobbler.

Candid Peach, Bellini, Peach Pit, Delectable.

Peaches 'n Cream, Georgia, Caramelized, Puree.

Summer Yum, Talk Derby To Me.

After using a few of the shades in a tutorial which I will link here ( ) I was quite excited. I made a look which look (to me) exactly like a look I did the other day with a chi chi palette. So I don't think of this palette as spectacular yet but I think once i play around with it some more I will come to like it.

Now I love the colours, they are so creamy and buttery and pigmented. The formula is very different to the Chocolate Bon Bon which I think I mentioned before. I just find these so much easier to blend and more pigment and buttery. So I do prefer this formula apposed to the chocolate bar.

I feel like this palette it 100% worth it. Even though at the beginning I wasn't very excited I am pleased to say I am happy with my purchase. The quality is amazing and I feel like I would get a lot of use out of this palette because I the great colour selection. If this appeals to you than go grab it it's amazing.
