NYX HD BLUSH IN TAUPE

For a while on YouTube and lately on Instagram I have been seeing so many pale beauty bloggers and YouTubers talk about the NYX HD blush in taupe. They have all said that it is the best blush for contouring. So I had always wanted to try it but for the longest time we didn't have NYX in Australia and when we dod get it all that was available was the older items. So when we just recently got the newer items and had them introduced to priceline I decided to give it a go.

So this blush retails for $11.95 which is a really good price for here in Australia. So this is cruelty free and I believe vegan. You get 4.5g or 0.16 oz of products which is a great amount, especially since this will be something I use every time I do my make up. It has a lasting date of 6 months which isn't very long compared to most make up but I feel like i'd use it up by then anyways.

So I do have another one of the HD blushes which I love so much so I was expecting the same great quality with this shade. It's super pigmented and build able which is nice for beginners like myself. The packaging is small and compact with a little bow at the front which I adore.

I applied this to my cheek with a Real Techniques setting brush and blended it out with my Designer Brands angled contour brush. I am a beginner to contouring and this was my first attempt and I think it turned out well. I was excepting something really intense but I got something subtle but no invisible which I liked.

So does this product live up to the hype? Sure does, its affordable, cruelty free and somewhat easy to access. I love the packing and feel like this is a perfect shade and formula for beginners and I will defiantly be repurchasing it.
